Couch To 5K

Our sessions are on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6-30pm to 8pm. 

What to expect

There are two structured sessions per week, Monday at 6-30pm & Thursday evenings starting at 6pm at the Recreation Ground, Coventry Road, Lutterworth.

Couch to 5k members are encouraged to do a further session each week on their own or with friends (or homework as we call it)

All sessions start with  a group warm up. 

The 5 km program starts with walk/run and is designed  to build up to the 5 km over the 10 weeks at a persons own pace. 

Each session is designed to improve fitness & stamina and all people in the group will be starting from the same point. 

You will be able to progress onto a different group after the 10 weeks if you want to continue.  All you need are trainers & clothes to run in (a reflective top or reflective bands are needed on the sessions after dark)

The Harrier’s is an all inclusive Running Club with a friendly group of people. 

Most, if not all started on their running journeys with a Couch To 5 km  programme.

The cost is £45 for a 10 week course which includes the Monday and Thursday evening training sessions and a Training Plan. It also covers the Annual Club Membership fee and you will receive a Club training shirt with a name of your choice printed on the back.
